Who can join FSI?
FSI is open to secondary school students (S1–S6), university students, young professionals, and corporate teams. If your school does not yet have an FSI Link, you can apply as an individual member.
Do I need any prior skills or experience?
None whatsoever. FSI is designed to take you from zero. Bootcamp 1 starts with complete foundations — no prior knowledge of design, video, marketing or any other skill is required. All you need is the willingness to learn.
Is there a cost to join FSI?
Contact FSI directly for current membership and bootcamp fees. FSI is committed to keeping training accessible and affordable for all students regardless of background.
What do I get at the end of the program?
Every FSI participant who completes the full bootcamp cycle receives an FSI Certificate of Completion at the Grand Finale. More importantly, you leave with a real portfolio of work, industry-level skills, and a network of FSIz across Uganda.
Will I miss school for FSI training?
Never. All FSI bootcamps are scheduled during official school holidays as set by the Uganda Ministry of Education and Sports. Your academics are never compromised.
How does my school start an FSI Link?
A school needs a patron teacher willing to guide the Link and at least 10 interested students. Apply through the Schools page and FSI will review your application and reach out to set everything up.
